Hello, I’m Tom Drohan,
I have lived and worked in the greater Puget Sound area for
over 30 years.

Throughout my career I have been in a position of trust that requires alert attention to detail and a personal commitment to quality outcomes. You should find me to be approachable, personable, knowledgeable and very conscientious.

I am licensed by the Washington State Department of Agriculture as a Structural Pest Inspector (SPI).  An SPI looks for WDO....that would be Wood Destroying Organisms. WDO’s inlude pests (bugs) that eat or carve wood and fungi that invade wood causing wood rot. As a home inspector I am certified by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) an organization that maintains and promotes high and consistent standards that are followed in this industry.

I’m going to take a look at your house with your long term safety, security and  sense of value in mind. I give a practical inspection that will reveal if there are items that you should be aware of.

I inspect all the visible, primary structural features of your home or home to be. Areas include but are not limited to; pavement on property, foundation, siding, roof, gutters, water pressure, porches, steps, decks, railings, doors, door hardware, floors, walls, ceilings, windows, kitchen and bathroom appliances, fixtures and plumbing, electric switches and outlets, heating and cooling equipment, power panels, water heater, laundry area, attached garage and of course the mysterious attics and crawl spaces where they are accessible.

My inspections are thorough, yet normally are complete in
just over two hours.

I like to move along in a smooth organized fashion making all the appropriate observations and notations a good inspection should include.

A complete report with photos as needed is produced for your home.  In most cases, I e-mail the report to you the same day.
